What you see here is the classic self depreciating “nice guy” how dare a woman and her friends dress up all nice and go out to have fun with their friends without giving you, a complete stranger, any play. How dare women dress up and have a good time for themselves and not dress up and slink around for your enjoyment. “Its to feel fucking superior” Well I know its surprising, but chicks don’t always go out clubbing in the hopes of getting sexual action. Maybe they are not attracted to the opposite sex? But that doesn’t matter to you because you think that if you go up to a woman and ask her to dance like “a gentleman” then she is required to grind on you like there is no tomorrow.

valid reasons for a woman to dress up and go out but reject you:

1. She already has a partner, and just wants to have fun with her friends.

2. She just broke up with her partner and doesn’t want to meet anyone right now.

3. She’s lesbian, asexual, or otherwise not attracted to men.

4. She enjoys fucking random strangers, but not you.

5. She enjoys meeting new people, but you’re a total creep.

6. Literally anything else.

Plus, just think about the reasoning on display in that image. The fact that she spent a lot of money on her outfit and makeup establishes that she owes you something? That’s like arguing that an artist ought to pay you because you looked at her work. It’s Bizarro World logic. I’m not being hyperbolic there; that is literally how logic works on Bizarro World.

The fact that men think women get dolled up only to attract their attention is such nonsense.  Like ever heard of homosocial bonding?  What about homosocial status seeking?  Like crushing a beer can on your head isn’t generally going to impress ladies but you do it to get status with your dude friends.

As a paranormal/horror blogger I can assure you these child abuse ads are the most scariest and saddest thing I’ve ever seen. Probably because things like that are happening RIGHT NOW at this very INSTANT.

And it’s horrifying but hopefully these ads bring more attention towards it.

I got these from this buzzfeed article. You can view more ads and the sources for these ads there as well.

Time to show some love and appreciate these heroes.

Firefighters are some badass mutha fuckas

firefighters are incredibly under appreciated, this is sadly the first appreciation post to them and we need more of these, they literally walk through hell to pick up people and pull them out, they are all Castiels if all civilians are Deans, and they save animals, treating all like humans, i have never heard of a firefighter that has chosen not to save someone for there race or sex or sexuality or anything, a human is a human and an animal is an animal, i love these people and they don’t deserve to be ignored as much as they are

Can we just pick a day and trend our love for firefighters worldwide?

Is there a firefighters day?

Intl FireFighters Day is May 4, because they are all secretly jedis I assume.

Where there are wolves, there are ravens. Ravens follow wolves around a lot, mostly because they just seem to like them. They aren’t known to follow other predators and they prefer to eat with the wolves instead of alone. Source

wait are you telling me that wolves keep ravens as pets

cause this is the most goth thing ever since My Immortal

It would be an easier way for the raven’s to get food. And I bet the wolf doesn’t mind the companionship either.

it’s mutualism! Ravens circle ungulate herds and wolf packs, wolves see them, find the animal faster, kill the animal and open up the carcass(which ravens can’t peck through), and then the ravens eat and the nice juicy bits.

oh, and the pet anology is back-assward. ravens play with wolves. and more importantly, wolf pups. you know how animals raised together from a young age are super tolerant of one another? ravens exploit that to get better access to carcasses.

yeah i was gonna say it sounds more like the ravens are keeping the wolves as pets

This is an interesting case of human language parameters (or, anyway, English language parameters) influencing the tone of a neutral fact. The intimation of an owner/pet relationship is the result of a species who hasn’t been anywhere but top of the food chain in living memory, and for whom creatures of the wild have long since been tamed and house-broken.

However, ~500,000 years ago, when early humans were first emerging from Africa, we developed a similar relationship with wolves. It’s theorized that humans and wolves, both being highly social pack hunters, noticed the similarity in their hunting styles and quickly learned the benefit of a creature on the hunt.

This is one of my favorite images of prehistoric man, and one that doesn’t appear much in media- wolf teaching man, through action, of the habits and strategies necessary to take down the megafauna of the time. Man and wolf as equals in a world of giants, hesitantly friendly when time permitted. Before we were the masters of the world, we were just another animal. These sorts of mutualistic relationships are more common in nature than one might expect, but that’s entirely because we approach it from a human exceptionalist perspective.
